A successful candidate will be expected to develop and monitor a comprehensive recruitment strategy, implement effective retention initiatives, help establish/build employment brand and culture, and manage the day-to-day administration of Talent Acquisition policies, procedures and programs. The VP of Talent Acquisition will spearhead the support of staffing covering 16 terminals.
Position Description:
Job responsibilities will include:
Successful candidate will have a Bachelors’ Degree in Business Administration, Human Resources or related field, at least 10 years of management level HR or Talent Acquisition experience that includes knowledge of all aspects of organizational development and talent acquisition. Demonstrated experience with succession planning and managing full-cycle recruiting and employer branding initiatives will be expected, as will prior Driver/Owner Operator recruiting experience and knowledge of Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS’ s) and HR databases. Excellent analytical, leadership, presentation, decision-making, oral/written communication, and interpersonal skills are all essential.

- Determining staffing needs and developing forecasts
- Establishing and leading employment branding initiatives
- Leading all recruitment and sourcing strategies
- Managing vendor partnerships and relationships

- Performing other related functions as needed
