Position Description

Our Client is looking for a Service Coordinator.  The successful candidate is someone who is mechanically inclined and has some tech experiences, so they have an understanding of the mechanical/electrical work that needs to be done.   This person will be advising service techs of their daily work orders, assigning them to jobs, scheduling, pulling paperwork together, etc.  It is  a fast paced job, gives someone great experience in the supply chain industry side of things.  Must be super detail oriented, be able to work under stress, a lot of moving pieces at one time.  Good communicator. Must have good computer skills and ability to learn more. This is an office position

Coordinate daily service requests from customers and internal stakeholders; manage stakeholder requests with appropriate urgency based on available information. Prioritize stakeholder requests based on customer needs.  
  • General admin duties as assigned and data entry support for service
  • Assist in customer requests for work orders or inspection reports
  • Conduct small repair quotes not to exceed $5, 000 as required
  • Place purchase orders with vendors as required to support all service work
  • Open and close service jobs with accurate information and costs in ERP system
  • Contact customers due for contract renewal 60 days in advance of month due and solicit renewal in conjunction with Branch Manager
  • Manage subcontractors, equipment and tools required to complete jobs effectively
  • Manage the order cycle administratively providing support to the Branch Manager
  • Schedule technicians efficiently striving for 95% technician utilization and minimizing indirect time
  • Coordinate service jobs by geography maximizing productivity
  • Manage weekly open orders report with up to date information
  • Manage all scheduling systems, whiteboards, monitors and fleet systems maintaining accuracy 24/7
  • Initiate van stock replenishment process when required
  • Schedule technicians in daily work by leveraging strengths and looking for training opportunities

 

 

 

 

 

 
 
  • Ability to multi-task, detail oriented and organized
  • Strong problem solving and communication skills
  • Understanding of mechanical and electrical terms
  • Ability to operate in a fast-paced environment
 
  • Associates Degree in Business Management, logistics or related education preferred
  • Military training in administration
