Our client is seeking a skilled Field Service Technician to join their Retail team. Six weeks of training will take place in Sandston VA.
Duties and Responsibilities
Working in a team of experienced Technicians your primary responsibility will be providing on-site repairs, installations, off-site remote trouble shooting, preventative maintenance for a wide range of PC based scales as well as manual and automatic slicers. Set up and troubleshoot both wired and wireless network connected devices
Your technical services will be provide? d to our clients in a supermarket environment.
Essential Skills and Education
Associates Degree or equivalent from two -year tech school or college; or 1-2 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Analytical skills for logical troubleshooting and diagnostics. Capable of reading wiring diagrams, schematics and spare part break downs. Knowledgeable in mechanical work on printers and mechanical parts of food processing machines. Experienced in in repair and installation of PC based devices or processor-controlled equipment (primarily board change level). Strong knowledge of operating systems, es? pecially MS Windows OPS. Capable to set up and troubleshoot both wired and wireless network connected devices. Familiar with TCP/IP based connections and other system bus protocols. Enjoys traveling to multiple locations and flexible work hours.
Intermittently lifting 60-80lb equipment and working in unusual climates. Customer focused and self-motivated. · Good analytical skills for troubleshooting and diagnostics.; Valid driver's license and clean driving record required. · Detail Oriented
Compensation and Benefits
Competitive salary plus overtime and bonus opportunity.
